About Me
Born in the garden alleys of Shemiran, I am Vahid Nazemi, a poet of Chahar-Beyti—a unique form of poetry with eight lines in the meter of four Mafa'ilun, a structure I developed to present my poetry. Not only in Persian, but I also compose in English and Turkish, not as translations but as original recreations of my Persian compositions in these two languages.
My first book, "Forty Chahar-Beyti", was published in Nowruz 1403 (March 2024). Meanwhile, for several years, I had been blending lyrics and poetry to create "BeitAhang", a term I coined to define this artistic fusion. Striving to produce unique and original works, I recently embarked on composing songs based on my poetry and producing music videos for them.
With over 30 years of experience in the world of technology, I have combined art and knowledge to create and distribute my works independently. As a result, in recent months, I have taken steps towards shaping a new movement in independent music by releasing dozens of songs (in three languages) on the world's leading music platforms.
You can follow my works on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and other major global platforms. I have chosen this path to bring light and illuminate even a small part of this world—and this is just the beginning of the journey...
The book "Forty Four-Couplets" was published in Nowruz 1403 (March 2024) as the first book by Vahid Nazemi
With the publication of this book, the poet's literary identity was officially established, and the copyright of the printed poems was documented
In future books, which will be published in Persian, English, and Turkish, arrangements will be made so that readers can listen to the song version of the poems simultaneously using their mobile devices
After about five years of producing various rhythmic verses by blending existing market songs with my poetry, I decided to compose original songs based on my own poems, leveraging my expertise in the available technology. I then registered each song on the official TuneCore platform.
By registering my songs, not only did these works gain copyright protection, but they were also distributed by TuneCore across the world’s most reputable music platforms, which are listed below for potential use.
More than twenty years of experience in working with various video production and editing software has led to the swift realization of the idea of producing music videos with songs composed based on four-couplets.
